Had a great couple of hours on the Skipton cream tea canal trip. The staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Food was lovely. Thanks to Ollie for really looking after us.

We did this Sunday Lunch Canal cruise on Sunday 2nd March , it was so nice , the Barge was lovely and clean and set out for a lovely Cruise down the Canal , the Sunday lunch was lovely and the Guys looking after us were so good and very helpful , i would advise anyone staying in Skipton to do this 3 hour trip it was worth every penny and so peaceful , really enjoyed it 10/10 for everything.

We hired a boat from Skipton Boat trips for my sons birthday.
We received a smiley welcome on arrival, with everything organised and ready for us.
We were then given a clear, idiot-proof explanation by Phil and off we chugged.
The information we received from Skipton boats prior to the trip and accompanying information from Phil definitely added to the experience.
The swing bridges made the journey fun.
We are now considering a weekend hire from Skipton boats as it was such a super day out!

Had a lovely time, afternoon tea was beautiful, everywhere was spotless. Nothing too much trouble, even had oat milk. Will definitely be booking again so relaxing.

Me and my partner had a lovely afternoon tea cruise today! The food was delicious and we could have as much tea and coffee as we liked! The staff were friendly and always checking back to see if we were ok! I would highly recommend!! Thank you!

Lovely afternoon tea. I had the savory option (fortunately still got a sweet scone) and it was delicious. Husband thought he didn’t like pork pies until he tried mine! Very professional and polite staff. Highly recommend

We enjoyed a fabulous one hour cruise today. The staff were friendly and professional, and made our time on the boat really pleasant. The commentary was both informative and hilariously funny. Thankyou to everyone for a lovely experience.

We had a great day on the self drive boats. Everything went well, the briefing was good and told us everything we needed to know. We all enjoyed driving and opening the gates. The weather was kind to us and we found a great spot to have our picnic. A great day out for all ages!

Christmas 2024 and a group of us started our celebrations with the Christmas Dinner Cruise. Once more the event was excellent, good food, great service and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Definitely recommend this company!

Enjoyed the afternoon tea trip yesterday. Very pleasant and would highly recommend. Great service onboard from the polite crew.
Only recommendation would be to have a welcoming message over the onboard speakers, when departing and perhaps info as the crew opened the swing bridges and the winding (turning) of the boat.These are only recommendations as it was a lovely experience.

A 2 hour trip on the lovely warm and cosy barge - Dalesman - for a delicious afternoon tea. Great service from the friendly staff. Definitely recommend.

The festive afternoon tea aboard The Dalesman was a nice leisurely start to the holiday season, exceeding all our expectations. A clean and comfortable boat with pleasant and polite crew who made sure everyone was looked after.
The two hour journey starts at the canal basin in the centre of the historic market town, then into open countryside, turning around at the village of Bradley.
Highly recommended if you want to spend a relaxing few hours with a generous portion of sandwiches, scones and small cakes along a nice stretch of the Leeds/Liverpool Canal.

Excellent 2 hours, well worth the money. Sat inside with a table to ourselves (2 people), radiators on, giving out heat 2nd week in December. Nice and steady chug up the canal for an hour then returning back to Skipton. Christmas music at all times, not too loud, smashing. A nice sized plate of sandwiches and savouries, plenty of tea and coffee, plus, alcoholic drinks if required. Staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed it, and we intend to do it again during the summer. Worth every penny.

Just had the fish and chips tour with 6 friends, fish and chips great staff very friendly very reasonably priced drinks highly recommended
